Fugio Cent
How much is a Fugio cent worth?

I have a 1787 Fugio cent (i havent gotten any authenticity checks) and it is a bit worn. if it is real, how much would it e worth?

On 7/6/1787, the board of treasury directed the contractor for the copper coin to stamp on one side of each piece: 13 circles linked together, a small circle in the middle, with the words "United States" around it. & in the center the words "we are one". The other side a dial with the hours expressed on the face of it; a meridian sun dial above on one side of which the word "Fugio" (the intended meaning is times flies) and on the other the year in figures 1787! Below the dial, the words "Mind your business". The legend have been credited to Ben Franklin (sometimes referred to as the (Franklin Cent). These were minted in New Haven, Conn. Most of the copper used in these coins came from Military stores or salvaged metal. The dies were made by Abel Buell of New Haven. If the coin is authentic depending on condition from $800.00 to $350.000. There are many varieties & it should be AUTHENTICATED professionally.
